MICROS 3700/WS4
　　combines MICROS’s most popular Windows based POS product suite, RES 3000, with the MICROS Workstation 4 (WS4), providing an unprecedent­ed POS product solution for the TSR (Table Service Restaurant) and QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) restaurant marketplace. MICROS 3700/WS4 is made up of several  components: the core hardware and software packages; a selection of optional add-on hardware components; and a selection of optional add-on software components.
 
MICROS 3700/WS4
　　offers the power and flexibility of the modular RES 3000 application suite packaged to provide a feature rich solution that is easy to install and support. The MICROS WS4 is a new stylishly sleek touch screen terminal that offers a lower total cost of ownership (TCO), streamlined support model, and improved reliability. This makes the WS4 functionally superior to current PC based clients. In addition, the WS4 automatically installs its own software, making MICROS 3700/WS4 simple to configure. Once connected to a local area network, the WS4’s Client Application Loader (CAL) will seek out the MICROS Server and automatically download the necessary software ap­plications. CAL continues to monitor activity for changes to any of the application components and will update the WS4 automatically when changes are detected.
